Sunshine on the Bay

Lovely little place, we will definitely be back. We ordered the seafood for 2 which comes in at $ 120 but is huge! The meal did not take very long, and the restaurant had quite a few people in it so that was a definite plus. A lovely selection of ocean dwelling creatures, a personal favourite was the garlic butter and macadamia oysters, the were just to die for. The service is amazing, and ordering is made easy with iPads. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a cute dinner date or even dinner for the whole family!

A great, fun place to spend a few hours enjoying a delightful seafood lunch. As part of a group of 10 we descended to be met with a beautiful hostess distributing ipad menus. Novel talking point but also so practicle. especially in a large group.
Meals were inspected, talked over & ordered directly from the ipad.
I enjoyed a Sampler Seafood bake with side salad which was impressive in its flavours & its size … perefect lunch time fare. Others in the group were enthusiastic over their grilled fish, oysters & seafood baskets. Plus we paid separately as the ipad stores your order directly to the registrer. Great for groups.
If anyone remembers the old Sunshine Seafood Restaurant from Wynnum, a trip down memory lane awaits with photos & newspaper clippings adorn the walls. Great touch.
