Sometimes I’m glad that there is somewhere that stocks second hand goods. I had read about using plastic ice cube trays as a way of organizing various dilutions of ink and I didn’t want to use the ice cube trays in the fridge. So I went in here hoping that someone had donated an old plastic ice cube tray and that I’d be able to buy it for under a dollar. It is a big charity store on Sydney Road with a lot of stuff and I was right there were a couple of old ice cube trays. While I was in the store I had a look around to see if I could spot some treasure in the bits under the counter. However, the ambition to recognize some under priced object by a famous designer was far less likely than finding an old plastic ice cube tray. You never know what you might find but chances are someone would have spotted it already. Quick look at the second hand books just in case there is something good there. Mostly there are second hand clothes and furniture here.
