In Coburg you can often find yourself spoilt for choice amongst the eateries. All manner of your Kebab, your Pizza, your Charcoal Chicken, your Fish and Chips, your Burgers. Not only does Time To Eat follow the ethos of ‘diversify or die’, but it seems to do most of them well. Arguably, I can only say for the Kebab and Charcoal Chicken. Kebab is as a Kebab does — greasy enough to line the stomach and cut through the alcohol you’ve no doubt consumed to urge you to get one in the first place. The sweet chilli sauce they put on it made it even better. Charcoal Chicken better than average. The flames going on behind the counter as the meats cook are quite hypnotic, but the the place does heat up quite a bit because of it. So if it’s a cool night the best thing to do is to eat on the run. The few who work there are nice enough, often with a local or friend your side of the counter to talk with while they work.
