Alimento Pizza Cafe

I ate here the other night and thought the food was great. We had a Meatlovers pizza — really tasty, with lots of fresh toppings and plenty of sauce The lasagna was amazing — delicious and good portion size — highly recommend.
Restaurant is BYO wine and beer — $ 2pp. Most mains are under $ 20.
Good service and great food. Atmosphere is ok — casual dining, family restaurant style. Will definitely go back — especially for takeaway

To me, this is what Italian food should be like. The most critical job a restaurant has is to provide excellent food and these people deliver. However the little things like the décor and shop appearance could do with some work which is why they lose a star. Don’t let this dark and poor exterior fool you!
The beautifully crispy wood fired pizza is to die for. With an abundance of choice in toppings, everyone can be pleased at this place. If pizza isn’t your thing then try the pastas. Start with the lasagne. A bit rich which is great for someone of my stature but a bit too oily for some. But the smell of tomato just envelops the stacks of pasta sheets and beef bolognese. Simply intoxicating. If that’s not enough to entice you, finish with their tiramisu. Tiramisu done by Italians, nothing can be better.
An added bonus is that they do take away and delivery. A nice treat for home if you can’t be bothered cooking and making a mess. Although delivery times can be long so if you’re hungry, I would definitely recommend picking it up yourself.

Small place thats almost always packed! Yummy woodfire pizzas you can smell from a block away. Eat in or take away (I prefer to eat there) with byo wine and beer. The gluten free pizza bases are some of the best I have come across. Make sure to try their salads the one with pear is beautiful. Cash only

Good pizza. Amazing salads. Great service. Can’t wait to go back. But their Margarita is pretty average
