Le Sarab Restaurant and Bar is one of the longer standing restaurants that line Concord’s busy, Mayors Bay Rd. Where many have tried, and failed miserably due to the streets competitive nature, Le Sarab continues to survive, and I’m not exactly sure why. The service and delivery of food are usually quite slow. The waitstaff seem disinterested, but can be helpful when making selections, which can be especially useful if you are new to Lebanese cuisine. The food is good, but not quite good enough to justify the prices. A table of two should expect to pay around $ 100 for entrée, mains, and maybe a coke or two. The mixed dip platter(Hommos, baba ghannouge, labni, labni with garlic), served with fried Lebanese bread is good, but again, a little too expensive at $ 25. And at $ 28, the mixed grill would be great value if you got more than six skewers! Le Sarab offers up some quality food, but a slight adjustment of price and attitude would do this establishment wonders.
