What are holidays for if not to book yourself in for indulgent massages at 10am on a Wednesday morning? Yep, that’s what I thought when I strolled down Darby Street and saw that what was a nail salon on my last visit is now a massage parlour. Even more to my delight was the sign out front with this week’s special of a 25 min neck and shoulder massage, 20 min foot spa and 20 min reflexology foot massage for $ 55. You best believe I was through that door faster than Usain Bolt at the Olympics.
Only open 3 months, this dynamic duo have a simple set up. It’s not the full day-​spa level of luxury but it does the job. My massage therapist was responsive when I asked for the massage to be a little lighter and the reflexology session may or may not have seen me drift off into a mid-​morning nap.
Definitely worth a stop in if you’re looking for an affordable massage experience that won’t take all day.
