It would be perfect if it wasn’t such a small store, with 15min long queues. Once you get that issue out of the way, the range of flavours available is brilliant. Can’t say I’ve ever had something from there that I don’t like.

Great selection of gelato, shakes and frozen yoghurt available. Everything made in store. Right next to the beach. A must try on a hot summer day.

This is my favorite frozen yoghurt in Perth. I have spent more time than necessary trying to analyze why this place has the best yoghurt. I think it comes down to the colder temperature which keeps the yoghurt firmer and the smoothness of the yoghurt. Now that we have that out the way let me tell you all about this tiny store that pumps out frozen treats. The yoghurt is normally available in a couple of flavours — the best are natural or pomegranate. There are several toppings both fruit or chocolate/candy based. There are plenty of gelato flavours to choose from in cups and cones. Be aware that in the height of summer there are long cues. approximately $ 5 for a single

Located next to El Lido and opposite cottesloe beach is redspoon advertising 98% fat free gelato, frozen yoghurt and shakes. The yoghurt and gelato are made on site. There are around 13 flavours to choose from. I tried the following: 1. Italian hazelnut — you can taste hazelnut through out the ice cream with chunky pieces of hazelnut. Molto bene! 2. Ferrero rocher — tastes like chocolate ice cream and very unlike the esteemed chocolate. Negative. 3. Coconut strawberry — lives up to its name. Positive. 4. Nougat custard– no idea what it tastes like but not like nougat or custard. Negative 5. Mars — couldn’t taste the caramel. Just tasted like chocolate. Negative. 3 stars for three out of five flavours not living up to their expected flavours. One scoop costs $ 5. Good price. Average gelati. Nothing to rave about.

Located opposite the beach, honestly it’s a perfect location, this gelato and frozen yougurt store has a good thing going on. Not just the delicious gelato but the excellent management skills to set up the store with a smoothly flowing in and out organisation so that people get served swiftly when the line up is out the door. The menu on the door gave you some time to think about what you would like so there was no umm or err at the counter(the line up was out the door when I went). You also have the option to add a range of different toppings Great range of choice available and on a warm sunny day it really hit the spot, the delicious spot

Red spoon is the great stop off point whenever you are at Cottesloe it really makes me feel sorry for the ice cream stores on the strip because this is the ultimate selling frozen yogurts. I also felt sorry for the man who was alone behind the counter trying to serve the whole line of people. I don’t know what they mean by natural flavoured milk shakes or frozen yogurt… doesn’t sound that nice. I got a hazelnut ice cream and my friend got Mars bar. Hers made her feel sick and it tasted more like rum than Mars bars but that’s ok I enjoyed mine, she threw hers in the bin.

This is ice cream at its best! It is low fat, always a good thing. Summer is a time for bikinis so if we can keep the fat intake down but still eat delicious foods then its already got a massive tick of approval! The ice cream is tasty and cheap! The allow you to pick toppings for the ice cream and have some really great choices that make it all the better. This is one ice cream parlour not to be missed!

I scream you scream we all scream for ice-cream. That’s old news, now for the good news… this ice-cream is 98% FATFREE! You heard me, now close your mouth, you’re catching flies. Oh sorry, you thought I was finished? Its only $ 4 a cup. Obviously adding toppings means adding 50c but let’s not ruin the mood. Cottesloe is a runway for beachwear and beach bods so this guilt free treat is welcome. Its nostalgic too because its all soft-serve. Can I get a wuhoooooo?
