Yummy thick bread used in the kebab and a good quantity of meat and salad. 10x better than the UWA guild kebabs. Reasonably priced for what you get. Staff are genuine and friendly, always able to recommend what combination of sauces and meat.

Best place for uni students. They are open till late. Open 7 days a week and reasonably priced. The kebabs are juicy and huge. Love the Turkish sausage Pide. And if u feel the need to have something sweet, they have their usual baklava and Turkish delight sure to make u really happy :)

The dudest of food. Came here on a friends recomendation after we both were tired hot and exhausted. I went for the pizza. A gigantic conglomeration of meat cheese and sauce on a pillowy soft dough. This creation is to pizza as neanderthal is to man. Oddly disproportionate, basic and brutal. But sweet baby Nathan Fillion its damn good. Slatherings of donna meat drowned in cheese and sauce. I went back for a meat box. Because meat box. Some of the best quality Kebab meat I have ever had. And being an overweight whute male who walks around in thongs and Meatloaf t-shirts. I’ve had a lot.

The best tasting kebab I’ve ever had. I would recommend the chicken with cheese and egg. They also sell their delicious Turkish bread to go — brilliant toasted with some olive oil and dukkah.

I can’t sit here and say that it’s the«best» kebabs, as many people proclaim. I haven’t made my kebab rounds throughout Perth to state such an honorable title. While It is still to be determined in my world, we all know I’m a sucker for customer service. Ararat Kebabs is centrally located across from an University Bar. Talk about a smart move. This place has a steady stream of college kids, barefoot and under dressed. I think it might have been kilt night(lets hope anyways). The wait for food was fairly minimal for the line-up. There would have been several changes I would have wanted for the food. I am not a fan of «doner». Why can’t you just find straight-up lamb in gyros? Not sure if this is a Perth thing or Ararat, but the beef distracts from the lamb flavor. I asked for hummus as my topping and my sandwich was incredibly, incredibly dry. While I know this is just my preference, my man asked for garlic and he felt his was dry too. The bread tastes like it is homemade and is exceptional. The meat portion was very substantial, just know it is in little pieces and not the strips. I thought it was a really cute idea to serve the food on real plates. This would never be the case in the USA. For a small place, they are pumping out kebabs, pide, pizza and french fries like no tomorrow. The pizza and the pide looked great. The fridges were stocked to the brim with various sodas. The man running the cashier(I assume owner) smiled to everyone coming in and as we were walking out he said«Thank you for your business». That smile and statement will bring me back, promise.

Uni exam time comes round, so I head to UWA to study; however it seems, more often than not I find myself at Broadway, making regular visits to Ararat Kebabs. For around $ 10 you get the most delicious, most filling pizza’s, kebabs and burgers, made fresh right in front of you — sometimes I swear I can smell the tastiness from the library down the street. Ararat Kebabs refuels my brain and ensures I can keep working hard, or some might say hardly working.
