Pimlott Framing

The staff at Pimlott are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have visited a couple times and always found what I needed. Some of the prices are hard to beat and whenever I’ve needed something that is hard to find elsewhere, I’ve usually found that they have it at Pimlott.
If you’re in need of art supplies, or want to have your painting framed, need a new frame for an older picture or other framing needs, you owe it to yourself to check this place out! I have pleasure in referring people here, you won’t be disappointed.

Pimlott is a handy Art Supplies and Framing store located on Torrens Road in Croyden Park.
It is a bit out of my way, and I don’t generally come here for day to day supplies. Their range of art materials is quite good, although a bit limited when compared to the larger art retailers.
Their real specialty is framing, which they do well and have a good range of frames available, although again nothing, spectacularly exceptional.
The real reason Pimlott Framing, stands out to me is that they are one of the few stores in Adelaide that stock d-​rings (the standard picture hanging supports required by most galleries), in large quantities, and at close to wholesale prices.
I was recently preparing for an exhibition of about 15 paintings and spent about two days running around every art store/​picture framer in town looking for d-​rings until I found Pimlott. An absolute life saver.
Also, Pimlott, also stocks lots of other hard to find materials for do it yourself picture framing, which is great if you are trying to do things on the cheap.
