It’s pricey like most local convenient stores and fruits and vegies are not of a good quality. This is always just a quick/convenience stop for me to buy pre-packed meats or milk.

Where I can I like to support the smaller stores that aren’t owned by large national companies. IGA stores are owned by locals but have the support of a larger network. This IGA is no different, with the owners being from a local family. This store is open 7am every day. This is really handy when you need to stop at the shops on your way to work, with the big supermarkets not opening until 8am. They are also open til 9pm, every single day, even the weekends, where once again the big supermarkets are long shut. This IGA has all the things that you would expect a large supermarket to have and then some more. Unlike Coles and Woolworths which seem to be replacing all the well known brands with their own, you can still get some of your favourites here. Like the Nurses Custard Powder, I believe IGA stores helped get that on our stores after a massive backlash when Woolworths took it off their shelves. The staff here are friendly and happy to help, or even organise a special order if need be. I just wished that I had an IGA like this closer to where I live. But I will often stop here on my way home at night, as I know it is open, and will have what I need.
