I have no idea when the last time they maintained this place was!
We had to move bowling alleys mid-​game as not all the pins would be brought down on each game and the rack was broken, and the balls even when bowled straight would veer off-​course.
We then played basketball to which the scoreboard didnt display the final score, making the game pointless.
Its clear this place has become complacent off all the tourist and great location. Give this place a miss.

Half the fun of bowling is in going with friends and the other half depends on the lounge setup. Kingpin is designed to promote team building or in my case, competition! It was time for a challenge!
On my first bowling attempt I got a strike! Yes!!! I’m usually quite terrible at bowling therefore knocking all the pins over in one turn, makes me want to believe this is the place to Shine and Showoff! Maybe their lanes are curved to hit the pins rather than fall down the gutter!
It pretty much went downhill after that, but the initial rush I got, has stayed with me and whenever I have to choose between different bowling centres, I pick this place. It also doesn’t hurt that the staff are friendly and that prices include shoe hire and the lounge is open long hours.
It does get very crowded though, especially on weekends and I recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting for a lane.

Located in the Harbourside Shopping Centre in Darling Harbour, Strike Bowling is a place of fun for the whole family offering just your average ten pin bowling-​no wii remotes or cords attached. For only $ 14 every day until 4pm for one game or $ 28 for two, Strike Bowling is a cheap way to entertain everyone. Strike Bowling also offers $ 4 pool games and Karaōke rooms starting from $ 80 an hour for up to 15 people.
However, for the more wild at heart, Strike Laser Skirmish is also available next door, for all you wannabe spies and commandos to shoot the enemy to your heart’s content.

In the mood for some rounds of bowling? I highly recommend you check out Kingpin Bowling Lounge! It’s a fantastic bowling place with beautifully built lanes, funky lighting and vibrant atmosphere that will surely pump you up for a good strike. And after hitting the pins, my friends and I normally go straight to Kingpin’s bar to chill out and have some nice cold, cheap drinks! Kingpin Bowling Lounge is a really great place to de-​stress (or stress, if you take bowling seriously!) and chill out with friends. It seems a lot of company’s bring staff here for team bonding and informal group meetings. Be sure to check them out — they are open seven days a week from 10am to 2am.
