State Training Services now offers a one-stop shop for all apprenticeship and traineeship services and broader vocational education and training advice.
State Training Services provides expert advice and information to industry, employers, training providers and apprentices and trainees. It is responsible for mediation and dispute resolution between apprentices, trainees and their employers and issues certificates to those who successfully complete their training.
Since 1 July 2012 State Training Services has also commenced as a Commonwealth-funded Australian Apprenticeships Centre providing a fully integrated service assisting employers, apprentices and trainees with essential administration and advice on incentives.
