Back again, still good. Nice selection of pizzas and tasty. Excellent service considering we had two pre-schoolers who expected their needs to be met instantly.

This restaurant is that Italian place that you go to if you crave decent pizza that’s not super super expensive on the strand. The place normally opens up so you get that salty sea breeze and a wonderful view of the beach. Their service is friendly and mostly efficient. Their pizza is good — loaded with ingredients and cooked nicely so there is a crust on the bottom of the pizza. It is the best pizza I’ve ever had? Maybe not, but it definitely satisfies my tum tum. Although the types of pizzas are quite basic and not experimental/fancy. I had ordered a supreme without mushrooms but when the pizza came, there were mushrooms! When I notified them, they apologetically took the pizza back and made me a new one. Probably just a miscommunication but I was impressed by how they handled it! It’s a great place to have a drink, chat with friends or celebrate a birthday!

This place is one of the Icons of DY. Pizzas are wide range in terms of choice and the quality is very good. There are meat and pasta dishes and the salads are essential for any meal! The wines are a good selection including some interesting. choices from Italy. Dessert selections are pretty good, my inky regret is the infamous tiramisu which was«huge» size and gorgeous in terms of taste has become smaller and less tasty! Great for lunch and if doing dinner, is recommend an early one to watch the changing colours of the skyline and the beach waters as the sun sets Value for money, I would say Yes

Mezzanotte is a family institution for me; every time we have a birthday/finished HSC/new job/promotion to celebrate, Mezzanotte is the place where the table is booked. Located on Dee Why Strand directly opposite this most beautiful of beaches, Mezzanotte has made a name for itself in contemporary Italian cuisine. It’s pizzas are DELICIOUS — I’d recommend anything with anchovies, as are the salads and pastas. It’s a little pricier than most of the restaurants found in the surrounding area, but if you’re out to celebrate then it’s a winner. The people who bring you your food and mix you your drinks are always friendly and chatty; given the frequency with which my family visits, we’re greeted with fondness. That’s pretty special, in a world of McDonalds and KFC. For a beautiful night, I’d unreservedly recommend Mezzanotte.
