One of my go to places for coffee when at work. The coffee is consistent, though admittedly not a fan of their filter. The filter coffee isn’t bad, it’s just like all filter coffee in Australia it is weak and lacks the black semi tar like quality found in Sweden. Cute little semi industrial space with plenty of light. Nice display of sweet treats to go with your coffee. The cold brew and long black never fail coffee wise

Great coffee and service. Their donut, muffin and cookie selections, while random, are very good quality. The chocolate ganache donuts are the best!

The first great coffee I had in Docklands was from Code Black. Filtered, black and made from the beans they roast in Brunswick. The chalkboard in front of the register explains the single origin coffees that are available. The cold brew is outstanding, particularly in hot weather, and their pastries change frequently. You can also buy their beans. I love their lighter roast and have brought countless bags home(they’re the ones with«filter» stamped on the back). Across Karlsruhe Lane you can see a tiny wind gauge spinning ceaselessly. Were it not there you might forget that you’re in Docklands.
