Wow! There’s is an amazing quality and taste to each juice! Aside from the taste of Home Juices, the health benefits I’ve received have been positive! Focused, natural energy and loads of vitamins. «It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.» Gandhi

I’ve finally managed to take a closer look at this place after weeks of walking past. This eatery has a lovely feel. Outside is a seat of astro turf where you can sit and enjoy your super healthy lunch, behind is a wall of greenery enhancing the healthiness. The menu boasts the use of organic seasonal produce and consists of juices, smoothies, elixirs, salads, raw meals and sweets. If crave a treat and don’t indulge due to allergies or intolerances then you should know that a good percentage(if not all?) of desserts here(cheesecakes, pies etc) are gluten, wheat, dairy and cane sugar free. This time I was just looking for salad, but the raspberry and vanilla cheesecake and banoffee pie did spark my interest. I arrived late for lunch, around 2pm and there were slim pickings remaining in the salad department, with some not looking overly appetising. I opted for the two option box at $ 10, which I filled with a serve of pad thai and a serve of the sweet potato rice… yum and double yum. They weren’t substantial serves, but they were surprisingly satisfying and full of flavour. I did have some leakage from the box due to the dressing on the pad thai, but nothing a few napkins couldn’t fix. Next visit I will be trying the living lasagne followed by something sweet.

There is no coffee available here. None. Seriously a Melbourne café has opened sans coffee! Great spot in ever changing docklands offering up organic choices. Think very hip now, paleo-organic-cold pressed etc. This place is all about loving yourself with food and not being afraid to spend the money. Everything is made on site. Which has it’s pros and cons. Freshness is their top priority. Variety and availability not so much a priority and in the afternoons it’s slim pickings for late lunches. One issue that’s regularly heard around the venue is price. You are paying a hefty price to feel good about yourself How much does one spend on self confidence and bodily gratification? The juices and salads starting price point is $ 11. Which is considerable coin for a juice. Take into consideration that this place has been open for less then a week as the time of visiting. Maybe they will continue to develop and evolve as time goes on?
