Lovely big meals & Woodfire pizzas. Average pizza price in 20’s and other dishes are mid $ 30s. All enjoyable meals.

Beautiful food! Amazing service! My only suggestion for management is make it more romantic. A nice big candle on the table, dim the lights make it romantic and MUSIC! There’s lots of familys which come here which is great but try and sit them together at the back of the restaurant(away from tables of 2 in for a relaxing meal) and the music will also help to shade the sound of little hungry tummys.

One of my favourite places in Perth! Have been coming here for years! Ensure to book a Saturday or Friday night as they get really busy but you get amazing food and huge portions — almost always end up having to get a doggy bag to take my food home — I don’t usually do that in restaurants but that’s how amazing the food is! Rich without being over powering; full of flavour and quick a big range of pastas, pizzas and steaks! There is usually a bit of a wait so ensure to order entrees and drinks first but the service is lovely and the staff are always friendly and polite :) thanks for many lovely dinners!

A delightful little Italian restaurant on the road to Scarborough beach. We bad the Filet Mignon and a Pizza — both were very nice. The pizza had great sauces and flavour. The filet mignon was nice, but not the best I’ve had. The service here was excellent! You can expect a quiet atmosphere and plenty of attention. Added bonus: they are also in the Perth Entertainment Book. Enjoy!

We went there on Monday for a family members birthday dinner there was only 7 of us. We ordered our meals and waited 1 and a half hours to receive them, not only that but people walked in after us and had their meals served before us. Our meals were not nice at all. They didn’t even apologize or offer a free round of drink or a bit off the bill. Would not recommend or go back there. We have now found another Italian restaurant and it’s perfect

Great little find, we fancied something Italian for lunch on Sunday afternoon and after getting fed up with trying to park down Scarborough beach front headed along Scarborough Beach Road and found this little gem. It had a very large menu to pick from, including a full page of pizzas, pastas among other delights. The place smelled great and suspected the pizzas would be good when we saw the wood fired oven and Italian guy behind the counter. We were not disappointed, we ordered a Calzone to share as we didn’t want to be too full, and I am glad we did as it was humongous and packed full of ham, cheese, olives etc. I would definitely go back to try some of their other dishes as everything that we saw coming out smelled and looked delicious, and from scanning the menu looked reasonably priced based on the portion sizes. Would be a great place for a large celebration meal as well as they had big tables and what looked like a private area out the back. Its also BYO wine with $ 6.50 corkage.

Went here on Saturday night for a last minute dinner with friends who were over from Melbourne for the weekend, Wanted something local and child friendly. I frequently walk past this place on my way to Café Relish and tonight I discovered why. The food in this place is good — good extensive menu with lots of choice and an excellent looking wine list/good alcoholic drink selection, I ordered the garlic bread and the chicken and pumpkin salad and the food I had was nice enough — the salad was tasty and the ingredients fresh, but the service alone barely deserves 2 stars. We were told when seated that there was a larger table coming so we had better hurry up with our order or we would be waiting all night(fair call if the delivery had of been appropriate), The lady who served us was nothing short of abrupt to the point where we were all stunned when she left after her first round of what came out like orders. The other staff seemed attentive and friendly enough and we were happy with their service. Whilst the food that I ordered was tasty enough it was far from a pleasant dining experience having been treated like second class citizens from the start, I definitely won’t be heading back here in a hurry!

I lived in the area for many years and this was my first time at Fornetto. A friend of mine went there and really liked so we decided to give it a go. Service was impeccable, very friendly and helpful waitress; the pizza chef approached us when he heard me speaking Brazilian Portuguese with my daughter and turned out that he is from the same city where I’m from. I ordered the chef special crab meat angel hair pasta and was divine! The Napolitana sauce was light with a touch of finely diced Spanish onion and hint of chilli. The portion size was spot on(for me anyway), my partner ordered the carbonara and I thought was quite rich for my liking. I would give five stars if only had tried the crab meat pasta dish.

I only have the highest regard for Al Fornettos, as it was started in my own hometown of Albany. My mum and dad used to take us to this place that, for me as a child, was so loud with laughter and smiles and people enjoying food, I can’t remember anything but great times. Even when I was young the food there was something special, it was one of the few times I wouldn’t even think about vegetables in my dinner, and how much I invariably disliked them. The Doubleview addition has certainly not missed the mark. They still produce the best Italian, and I mean REAL Italian, that I have ever had the privilege to slowly(ever so slowly) eat. Two dishes that will bring tears to your eyes, Capretto and Gnocchi Al Fornetto. I heart them.

This is a real Italian restaurant serving real Italian food, not just generic pasta and pizza dishes. It has a warm friendly atmosphere like there should be in Italian restaurants. They are celebrated for their gourmet pizzas and I urge you to move away from the stodgy pizzas of scarborough and come in here(if you’re coming from the beach with sand all over your legs there is take-away available). I had the pleasure of eating their Al Salmone with smoked salmon and spinach, mouth watering stuff! If you’re a cheese lover and believe me you have to LOVE cheese, try the Quattro Formaggi, its VERY cheesey. Of course there are so many other options such as their kilpatrick oysters, paninis and beautiful steaks.
