Love everything about this place, the name, food, people and the service. Best coffee I had in Perth so far

Great combinations of breakfast food! Delicious juice. Cute little location. The dukkah eggs was yum! Pancakes a bit small but still yum!

The food here is super delicious, breakfast choices where great and the variety was abundant! Taste and presentation was fantastic, and pricing is reasonable. The only thing is that the portion size is a little bit on the smaller side, when the food is that delicious you want a little bit more just to be fully satisfied!

Awful. Chips were cold and were soggy like they were microwaved from yesterday. Steak sandwich was drowned in sauce and tougher than boot leather. Not coming here again.

Popped in for coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the staffs friendliness and also the coffee. Really strong(long Mach topped up OR commonly known as a strong latte) coffee but still creamy and a little sweet. Perfect! GF had a weak long black with skim milk on the side and she too was very impressed. They setting was nice outside in the shade on a mid 20’s degree day. Given good coffee is still few and far between in Perth, we decided they deserved a good review. Give it a go.

Food look great but taste pretty average. Service was terrible, food did not come out on time. My friend waited 30mins for her food to come out. A couple next to us order 2 mugs of coffee but just gave them two small cup instead and ask if it was ok. They were not happy either.

Love everything about the Kinky Lizard! Love the name, love the food, love the venue and love the service! Just saying the name is enough to put a smile on your face! It is a lovely, fresh café down by the river on Royal Street in East Perth. We were greeted by a delightful, young waitperson who welcomed us with a smile and a cheery hello. After perusing the menu, I decided on the Waffle Blossom and a long macchiato. Let me tell you it was the most beautiful breakfast I have ever had. I gasped with delight when it arrived at the table, it truly was a culinary masterpiece! It took my breath away and held me spellbound! The chef is an artist and the plate is his palette. The dish itself was a winning combination of sweet and savoury, why choose one or the other when you can have both! The giant waffle was topped with scrumptious pears which had been poached in rich mulled wine and baked ricotta. The crispy prosciutto contrasted brilliantly with the sweetness of the organic maple syrup. Livening things up were the beautiful edible white flowers and blossoms! I savoured every single bite of my beautiful breakfast. The macchiato was creamy and full bodied so kudos to the barista! My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict and said they were the best she had ever tasted. The service was outstanding and I felt that all the staff went out of their way to make our experience a memorable one. Looking forward to my next visit already!

I had been looking forward to kinky lizard for a while having heard raving reviews of their fritters and coffee. Alas I was disappointed this morning when I found out that their menu had been updated with no fritters on the menu at all and just the usual breakfast options like eggs on toast. Nothing else looked interesting and I ended up getting rye sourdough with a poached egg and a skinny mocha all for 14.60. Their sourdough was small in size and cold. And coffee weak. The mocha tasted like a hot chocolate. Disappointment on a rainy day. :( Other than the above. The ambience is nice. It opens nice and early at 7am on Saturdays and is extremely busy for takeaway coffee.

Best brunch choice for weight watchers. The homemade raw brownie and pumpkin salads are amazing! Light sauce, less salt, organic food with reasonable price. Definitely added on the top of my perth brunch list.

Went for a late Saturday breakfeast and was very impressed to find some different options on the menu. Pulled pork and the waffles were delicious. Found the meals were very generous, so easily shared dishes. Nice place to while away sometime in the outdoor courtyard.

Yummy food. Great location to sit outside and enjoy a morning. The portions are huge here. Definitely try the affogato. I will be back! Gluten free friendly!

Recently renovated. But service in kitchen just too slow, chef/cook needs to lift his game & speed up a bit. Coffee was great & wait staff friendly & attentive. Portion sizes really generous. Egg white omelette was good, wild mushroom dish really good but the wooden plate it was served on was warped which made you feel like you were eating off a record player.

Just visited for a quick lunch. Was excited to try it as I had heard that they did a really nice brecky so was hoping lunch would be the same. I had a toasted focaccia $ 13. If i am paying over $ 10 for any type of sandwich I expect it to be bloody delicious. This was fairly average, processed chicken with cheap cheese & mayo. It was a bit greasy and not very nice. Coffee was great & service lovely but wont come back for food.

After a big night out with the ladies, this local café is a definite go. Fresh juice and meals, prompt service and plenty of seating. I love that I could walk there from my house and after the feast we had walking was something I should have opted for haha. This could be my new«wild fig» LOVE!
