You know its good bagels when its PACKED, no tables are available and the staff are running all over the place. The iced chocolate and coffee is amazing. Its not really *true* iced coffee, but gosh, its bloody good. The juices are great too and much more affordable than most places. The only downside was that the café was pretty filthy — the tables were gross and the floor was yuck and dirty. And thanks for the attitude when we asked if the table could have a wipe… not cool.

Great bagels, good coffee, clean and aesthetic setting, reasonable prices, and a service with a smile! What more could one ask for?

The bagels may be yummy — but the manager(owner?) is awful!!! After spending nearly $ 50 there on take away bagels & spreads as a birthday surprise for my sister, he refused to give me a box as ‘they are only for small packs, not large’. What??? Despite the picture advertised for large packs featuring 2 boxes! When I asked a girl working there for a box she gave me one, and the guy chased me as I walked out yelling ‘no no no, only for small packsI told you’. So ‘no no no’ more business for that guy, NEVERAGAIN!!!

So I spent almost 2 years working next door to Bagelicious and had coffee almost everyday just because Iky and the Bagelicious team know how to look after their customers. I love meat but one day I just ordered a veggie patty bagel for a change and spent $ 17 with the coffee, which I thought was a rip-off but the taste of that bagel, the sauce and the aroma of that beautiful coffee made me spent the same amount pretty much every week and every single cent spent was totally worthwhile. Also I must admit, I have never experienced such friendly atmosphere with swift service and especially extremely high hygiene level in any café. If you still haven’t visited this place, don’t get late now and give a visit :)

I chose bagelicious after reading Unilocal reviews. The reviews were right, the iced coffee is superb ! I also had a peanut butter brownie. It was a very gooey brownie with big globs of salted peanut butter. It was a bit too rich and thick for me. But the next person might have loved it. My friend had a poppy seed bagel with roast chook, avocado and a few other things. Including pickles, on the side in a cute little plastic container with a lid. He said it was nice but personally it would have to be exceptional for $ 16. It was pretty packed, the staff were lovely, but not a lot of ambiance. If i was in the area again I’d go back for the iced coffee but I’d find somewhere else for(a more reasonably priced) bagels.

The idea of a place to eat that has so many sandwiches with bagels amazes me! I love bagels, however this café/foodery menu confuses me. There seems to be so many options and then on top of that I had to choose what kind of eggs. The cashier didn’t seem to thrilled to be there either or even to be helping me but the person delivering the food made up for it. The bagels are delicious though and quite quickly delivered with lots of good stuff on them. The eggs don’t taste that great and almost like they are fake eggs!

Possibly one of my most favourite cafés in Melbourne. The food is amazing and the staff have to be the most friendly staff in any café ever. The coffee though could be a little better, excluding the iced coffee which is a modest 11 out of 10. Nothing beats coming down here on a Sunday morning and having pancakes, or avo bagels or bicher muesli with a smoothie or a coffee.

I’ll have to admit, I’m a fully fledged bagel swinger, and I often find myself in different bagel stores, without maintaining allegiance and and honour to one offering. My flatty has this place in good favour, and I refer to my flat mate if I have just bedazzled anyone with strange slang. I’ve been here on numerous occasions, and even one when I happened to find a toasted bagel waiting on a plate outside my room, when I got up! Super joy! Super popular here and super busy, and it’s open on a Saturday morning. Build your own bagels, eat breakfast, or enjoy something to take home. Its all rad and happening here, well the bagels anyway!

I first discovered Bagelicious when my nephew was teething. Yup, you read right. We actually were there just for coffee and my poor teething nephew was having a bad day. One of the staff suggested giving him a bagel and before we knew it, the delicious morsel was in hit mouth and he was quiet the rest of the day. That marked the Bagelicious miracle which has since been used on all my sisters other kids too. Naturally, we were curious about the taste factor and since then this has been out Bagel place. In fact, I’d go as far as saying this is exactly what you look for in a bagel place — a great variety of fillings to choose from and the tastiest bagels I’ve had. My favourite is the lightly toasted sesame bagel with tuna and salad, great for a light lunch. The service and the coffee are pretty good too.

The ice coffee machine they have here has been imported from Israel and belongs in café all over Melbourne. Until that happens I think this is the only place that you can taste an ice coffee better than any other in the land. The bagels as the name suggest are bagelicious but not a good as the ice coffee. I am a big fan of the selection of toppings that you can have with your bagel. They actually have everything that you could think of which means you are going to leave happy.

I am a mad bagel lover so when I went to Bagelicious in Elsternwick I was very hopeful of it being up to scratch. Luckily, it was very impressive due to its large array of bagels, toppings and spreads. Good idea with the«make-it-yourself» style as well as having set items. My only qualm is that it is quite expensive but I suppose for the convenience and the fact that it is always busy means they’re allowed to put a few dollars up on it. The vibe sitting in there is a little dead but suits the quick coffee and lunch takeaway. The coffee is decent enough as well where the variation coffees are actually better where I recommend the Iced-coffee, which was more like a slurpee but all the same really nice.
