Tiffany’s is the local. It’s kinda an everyone knows your name place. Since it is tucked away on an interior street of Elwood, it’s not a place you just stumble upon. The coffee is reliable, but pricey. It can vary quite a bit depending on your barista. There are three places on the Tennyson corridor serving coffee and this ranks about #2. However, the fresh croissants are really lovely, as is most of the food. Lune was THE place to get croissants, but if the line was just too ridiculous, Tiffany’s was my stand by. It’s also always open, like even on public holidays. So, yea for that. But, I suppose you pay for it with the $ 4.50 cup of coffee.

Very good place for breakfast or quick lunch, great coffee. Also good place to buy your artisan bread. Pizzas from the woodfired oven are not the largest, but quite tasty; some interesting varieties as specials. Only downside to this place is that the cooking fumes from the open kitchen and said woodfired oven fill the place on occasion and make sitting inside not as pleasant as it could be.

Having driven down Tennyson St a number of times I had never actually stopped the car and had a little walk around the shops to see what if anything would tickle my fancy. The day that I did have a little look around was the day that my fancy was tickled by Tiffany. This is a gorgeous café with lovely photographs set on my favourite Melbourne red bricks, has a cake display that deserve a rundown from whoever is working there on the day to give you a little shpiel to help your decision. I was lucky enough to be told that the resident mama makes the cheese cakes here and so not disappoint.

Finally… breakfast at Tiffany’s. Tiffany’s on Tennyson is a cute and cosy café situated in the especially leaf part of Elwood where it’s a pleasure to go and have coffee with a friend. I’m a huge fan of the little strip of shops on Tennyson and this café is half the reason. The coffee is fantastic and there is such a homely and«simple pleasure» vibe which I adore. The menu is very interesting and appealing with the Brekkie Pizza or Wrap being some of my favourites. With it being presented on wooden chopping blocks I’m totally sold and wish I had more friends in Elwood to go and hang with just so I can go and continually have… breakfast at Tiffany’s.
