Lotus Room Enoggera

As of November 2014 this is a take away establishment which is disappointing as it is evident the restaurant was once a beautiful and popular dine in location.
The large building’s main doors show a sign explaining the closure of the restaurant and to the right is a small room which is depressing, for lack of a better word. The room walls are covered in a dull looking menu with several Asian food options. Compared to nearby Asian restaurants it is fairly expensive.
The woman behind the counter was very off-​putting acting disinterested and even playing with her hair while we ordered.
The food didn’t take too long and while it arrived hot, it was nothing special.
Unfortunately the service and ambience was a let down so I wouldn’t recommend this place.
If you’re looking for a great asian take away establishment I suggest trying Willow Garden restaurant which is nearby.

Ok maybe it was what I ordered. Staff exceptionally friendly while waiting for t/​a. Salt & Pepper squid tasted like someone had added soap. This in turn killed all possibility of enjoying chilli beef and fried rice. Hours later I’m still trying to scrub chemical taste out of my throat.

Consistently delicious. Staff are absolutely wonderful. I have tried a lot of this menu and have never in my four years of frequenting ever been disappointed! Great family owned and operated restaurant, Brisbane needs more like it! I love this place!
