Magic Hand Carwash

Generally do a good clean, but what annoys me is that they always try to talk you into paying more for extra stuff. I told you what I want, I don’t need you trying to tell me what I want every time I come in. Slow or non existent service in the café can be an issue.

I have a company account for petrol for the car and so normally I get stuck going across town to find the one petrol station with a drive thru car wash attached to it. Annoying!
I happened across this car wash on my way to work one day, and I’ve never looked back. It’s the only BP that has a hand car wash that I’ve come across in Melbourne. Sure there are car washes where you can wash the car yourself by hand but why do that when you can drink a coffee and play on your laptop finishing your Unilocal reviews, while a few burly men steam clean, wash and cut n’polish your car for you? All for bargain price of $ 25 (steam clean $ 80). In the Melbourne summer heatwaves or winter chills, either way I’d prefer to be sitting inside in comfort while somebody else gets wet and dirty cleaning, what my friends like to call (affectionately i think!), the garbage dump/​wardrobe on wheels.
There is no better feeling than getting into a freshly cleaned car, apart from lying in a bed with freshly laundered sheets. Ahhhh!
And yummy mummies everywhere will delight in the fact that they can multitask their morning while having their car detailed and washed. Right next door is a little complex that contains an Occasional Child Care Centre, a coffee shop, a physiotherapy/​pilates centre and a day spa. So while your car is beng beautified, why not drop the kids into the playcentre, get your nails done, have a quick massage and then finish up with a coffee (the full wash, details, polish, steam service for the car takes about an hour or so). Win-​win!
