It’s not gourmet or a-​la-​carté, however it is the best family restaurant around, the perfect place to take little rug rats who seem to disturb the ambiance wherever else you go.
However, it reminds me too much of Pizza Hut to give it more than three stars. Serving up the usual pizza and pasta dishes, as well as steaks and chicken dishes for adults, served with quite nice sauces, including napolitano and mushroom. It’s quite easy to see though that some of the salads and the potato and gravy are instant mix/​pre bought garbage.
In saying that, Torrente hits the spot if you’re in the mood for Italian and want to get out the house to somewhere the kids will be welcomed with open arms.
