Mountain Gate Charcoal Chicken

Mountain Gate Charcoal Chicken has only recently been taken over by new owners and it shows. The store is cleaner, the food looks fresher and the staff are a hell of a lot nicer.
I’ve visited it a few times, both before and after the change and I can definitely give it the thumbs up now. They make a really good chicken schnitzel and while I am yet to have some, their salads look beautiful.
They take phone orders but do not do take away. There are some stools inside the shop for people sit down and eat. If it wasn’t so hot in there almost all the time it would be a nice place to sit. The stools line the window looking out and it is fun to watch all the people walking past.
They have a pretty large range of drinks as well as the hot food and salads so make sure you grab one of those from the fridge.
The service here is also really speedy, which is definitely a plus if you’re on the way home from work and grabbing something for when you get home. No one wants to wait a long time and these guys seem to understand that.
If you’re after some chicken, you can’t go past this store at Mountain Gate. It’s pretty yummy!
