Okay, I wasn’t going to get my burger at Danny’s Burgers because I could clearly see that the place was packed, so instead I decided to walk a little further down St George’s Road and discovered this place. Okay, I had had Italian the week before, but that wasn’t going to be an excuse to continue walking, especially since I quite partial to Italian food. Anyway I walked inside to discover that it was a take-away pizza parlour, however they do have a restaurant in the next room, so I decided to sit down and grab some spaghetti. I have to say that it was really nice, and quite spicey as well. It was certainly much better than the stuff that I make at home(when I get around it that is). The staff were really nice, and the prices weren’t that bad either. I’m still going to have to check out Danny’s Burgers sometime, but it is good to know that this place is just across the road if, once again, it happens to be packed. Oh, and if you’re into deep fried Mars Bars, then they have them as well.

Pretty darn good pizza at La Sera. What finally got me hooked was riding past one time just before they opened with the aroma of wood fire as I passed by. I knew that would get me. I hedged my bets(or cash) hoping that the results were good and wouldn’t be your average and typical greasy skip style pizza. It wasn’t. mine had plenty of toppings, the ingredients were great, and generous toppings without being overwhelming. I have noticed the 3 olives and 2 slices of salami kind before, aka stingy but it’s not the case here. Great thin and crispy crust that still retains bite, but it’s not as chewy as an entire factory worth of bubblegum(yes I’ve had those pizzas before.) Great tomato sauce base, and it looks like plenty of good options from the menu. Fresh and tasty ingredients with nothing dodgy. I’ll be back.

Pies delivered this week were even better than usual. Consistency makes me swoon.
