Located amongst the many outlet shops on Johnston Street, the Authentic Factory Outlet sells all sorts of converse for all sorts of prices.
Shopping in Australia can be quite expensive so outlets are quite popular. I didn’t realise there were so many on Johnston Street. The person I was shopping with needed shoes. I didn’t need anything in particular. Inside, there were lots of shoes — all stars, jack purcells, and other plain coloured shoes like keds and volley equivalent.
It’s also a good place for workout close as well. I ended up buying a pair of black converses because I wanted plain sneakers for every day wear. They cost about $ 50, which isn’t cheap, but still at a reduced price from the $ 80 it originally was.
If you’re looking for cheaper than $ 50, there were a number of shoes around the $ 20 mark. You won’t find anything fancy, but they’re stylish enough.

We all know this Converse outlet. It sells cons for a little less. It’s a bit hit and miss. There’s always something on sale, but whether it’s the style you want is another thing. When I was last in there they were selling the slim leather all stars for $ 70, which is well below what you would expect to pay. But the usual cons, the canvas ones weren’t on special at around $ 90. You just have to get lucky.
They’ve got a range of sporting clothes here too which are often on special and there are a few two for one deals. But it’s just the shoes the majority care about. So you just have to come in and try your luck.

There is nothing I like better than knowing what product you are looking for and getting it for a bargain. If you are looking for Converse products such as sneakers, clothing, tracksuits and windcheaters, then this is the place to go.
Authentic Factory Outlets is located furthest from the city end of Smith Street amongst all the factory outlets offering products with labels at cheaper prices than you find in regular stores.
I managed to get a pair of Converse One Stars and even got some free Converse socks to sweeten the deal.
It’s not only Converse in this Authentic Factory Outlet, you can also get a number of other cheap shoes and other street wear at discounted products such as Tommy Hilfiger.
This part of Smith Street is great for the bargain hunter and this Authentic Factory Outlets is a must.
