Established in 2012.
Brenton Lang created the bakery with the aim of bringing artisan breads to Brunswick st using traditional time honored techniques.
Our beautiful sourdough breads are sold fresh in store and are delivered to a growing number of elite Melbourne cafes and restaurants.

Brenton L.
Business Owner
Brenton is the head baker and founder of Rustica Sourdough, he believes in slow cooking, taking his time to nurture dough and bake bread using time honored techniques with the occasional contemporary flair.
He has been baking for almost 15 years serving his apprenticeship in Bendigo before quickly rising to the role of head baker at Bakers Delight at the ripe age of 21. Brenton got his first taste of artisan baking while employed at Phillippas, which the developed into a fully fledged passion during his time as head baker at The Good Loaf.
