Escape Room Melbourne

An amazing experience from start to finish. Having never been in an escape room before, we didn’t know what to expect and it was a fun and refreshing experience to progress through the carefully-​crafted puzzles. Now keen to try some of the other offerings, have potentially become a bit addicted!

My housemate returns home, beaming from ear to ear and exclaims «guess what we’re doing tonight?!» and throws his phone to me. There on the screen is a picture of the Escape Room. «They lock you in a small, dark room with no guidance and you have 70 minutes to escape — fun, right?!»
You can imagine the panic that overcame my claustrophobic/​nyctophobic brain, but alas, I went along and hoped for the best.
They delivered. This Escape Room is the original and by far the best. The room is quite literally out the back of owner/​operator Owen’s house, we are guided through, say a quick hello to his mum, and given a walkie talkie.
He smiles and says «Good luck. I’ll be watching you.»
Now, I don’t want to give anything away because this is something you really should experience for yourself, but I can tell you that the clues are challenging but achievable, and very, very clever. If you are really struggling, Owen will give you a quick clue over the walkie talkie.
We managed to complete the game in just under 70 minutes and were buzzing with excitement and adrenaline for hours after.
This is such a great night out for you and your BF/​GF/​BFF and I highly recommend you only do it in a pair or group of three. You don’t want too many cooks in the kitchen.
