History
Established in 1999.
It was a typical New York mid winter’s night in 2001 when the guys stumbled across Mike Bongiorno’s New York Pizza restaurant on the lower east side of Manhattan. As a 3rd generation Italian American, running his families restaurant was in his veins, making pizza was in his soul.
The pizza tasted so good that they ate there every day for a week. Each massive hand tossed, thin crust slice was just as foldable and as deliciously cheesy hot as the last. The pizza was simple yet it was brilliant — Australia’s taste buds were calling…
