Been here multiple times. At Sun 7 they offer booth tanning, professional spray tans and unfortunately solariums. This isn’t a salon but a hardcore tanning studio. I would avoid the solariums(also known as cancer machines) and for the less health yet beauty inclined they cause wrinkles, moles, freckles, discolourations, loss of elasticity of skin etc. I have used the mystic booth multiple times, got the extra dark for $ 25. Old blue booth, nothing like the beautiful versa booths they have in America, oh well. Looks aside the booth gives a beautiful, fine mist all over the body, no spots missed in less than 2 minutes. Gives a medium tan. Private room. Tan dries quickly, they have a fan, moisturiser, shower caps, baby wipes and towels for your use(there is a basket outside the door to put your used towels in). The staff will explain what to do. Pro tip: When using the booth, if you have big boobs make sure to lift your arms up high to get underneath them as well bend over so the spray can get under your butt cheeks. Great for when you want a mess free, awesome spray tan without anyone seeing you naked. Bring flip flops, loose dark clothing and don’t go when it’s raining. Make sure you exfoliate and shave/wax before hand. Put the moisturiser heavily on your palms, soles of your feet, cuticles and nails and lightly on your elbows and knees. I also use the baby wipes to wipe any tan off my face as I prefer to use bronzer to make my face look tanned. Decide whether you will use the shower cap to cover your ears or not. The tan can last a week if you exfoliated properly, keep body wash and swimming in water to a minimum and avoid scrubbing the skin. To keep your tan looking fresh, apply moisturiser morning and night(I prefer non-tanning moisturiser). I have also got the spray tan(again multiple times), where a one of the staff members spray you and they do a good job. One staff member told me that the three step deluxe spray tanning –where they spray you with a ph base, tan and the moisturiser makes no difference so I just get the plain tan for $ 35, a extra $ 5 for extra dark. Some other tanning places will spray you for $ 20 — $ 25 so shop around. They also have the 2 hour tan that means you can shower after 2 hours — instead of 8 however it gives a lighter tan. All the tans I have gotten from here have been even with no spots missed and long lasting. After they spray you also get a private room to dry and get dressed with a mirror, fan, baby wipes, towels and shower caps for your own use. Has website with prices, under eighteens get a discount. Open 7 days and late till 8.30 pm, 5 days a week except for Thursday which is open until 9.30 pm and on the weekends open until 6 pm on Saturday and 5 pm on Sunday. The staff are very tan, some nice, some a bit rough around the edges, but who cares? Get in, tan, get out. This place gets four stars because I don’t agree with solariums.
