The Modern Furniture Store

What first drew me to this store was this beautiful antique designed bicycle sitting at the front of the store. It’s gorgeous. beautiful lines, beautiful curves and great brown leather seat. I looked at the price tag, $ 1000. Hmmm… I might just go to 99 Bikes for something similar half the price. Bikes are not their specialty though. This store sells amazing Danish/​Scandinavian furniture.
A lot of the furniture in this store are made from wood. They’ve got very simple yet creative designs. I find it quite inspirational. It has a very modern feel but with the essence of classic designs behind them. I think this is what makes this store special. The furniture captures a niche in the market for modern, elegant and honest designs.
The customer service here is wonderful. The lady who stand behind the counter encourages us to sit and try the furniture on for size. As I squeak in the leather chair, I feel as though I could fall asleep. A very pleasant furniture store and a wonderful shopping experience.

Do you think the owner of this store would mind if I just… moved in? I would keep everything very clean. I would dust and sweep and try to look oh so pretty sitting on/​in/​around all of the amazing furniture spread throughout the shop.
The Modern Furniture Store excited my inner designer a lot. Clean lines, splashes of colour and the use of beautiful materials makes it obvious that the furniture in this store is worth every cent they’re asking for. I became attached to an extendable Oak dining table which I am certain should be mine. Alas, the finances don’t allow, but when they do this is the place I will be coming for a beautiful table or writing desk.
If you need some Scandinavian action in your life (of the décor variety, of course) then I seriously suggest you pop in to this beautiful store for a wee look.

Move over IKEA I have a new Scandinavian lover,
and it goes by the name of The Modern.
This place has got to be one of the sweetest furniture stores I have come across,
It boasts pieces that are understated but beautiful in the simplicity of their design.
What I love about their range is that it doesn’t boast huge cumbersome
pieces that are overly grandiose or OTT. Instead I feel the furniture is designed
to be seamlessly transitioned into your living room. almost like its been there all along.
Made out of solid Oak and Elm
these pieces have been manufactured to meticulous european standards
and have withstood my rigorous testing (This includes jumping up and down on the chairs
and knocking importantly on wooden surfaces.)
