It’s okay, good to be sitting outside. Pancake special is recommended.

Quick, friendly service despite being fairly busy for a mid-morning weekday. Most tables occupied and a steady stream of takeaway customers. No surprises on the menu but seem to be good at all the usuals; excellent Hollandaise!

I almost don’t wanna write this review because I want to keep an ace up my sleeve, if you get what I mean. It’s hard to get a table as it is. When I visited it it had most diverse clientele I had ever seen. Young couple on(what I presume to be) romantic lunch, an older couple with their dog in tow, a woman with her children, single men of all ages. Seems like everyone is welcome here. There is just something about the atmosphere. The food is good too, but it is not above and beyond call of duty. I can’t fault it but it doesn’t shine. The person serving me was not too friendly. I can’t really complain, they were not rude or anything, but I could tell they were not as excited to be there as I was. Recommended.

What a charming family-run café! Had a lovely lunch there a couple of weeks ago and could barely find a table. It’s very busy, especially on the weekend, which is kind of annoying because they try and get you in and out as soon as possible. The coffee was average, but the atmosphere is great. The prices are low too. I had a strawberry milkshake and it was delicious, followed by awesome french toast. Before then, I hadn’t had french toast in ages, so it was well worth it. Good for groups, families, and kids.
