This gallery is well set up with«silver award accomplishments» almost at every corner. Adam Monk has a beautiful eye and captures landscapes to take you away. His work is crisp and his choice of intensity with colour is tasteful. Towards the end of the gallery there is a separate framing business, which is worth having a look at if you are considering purchasing a photograph to mount. The prices are what you’d expect of an establish photographer(think in the thousands) and the guy at the counter is more than happy to walk you through explaining the benefits of particular pieces if you have something in mind. I didn’t buy, but I did appreciate and will consider some smaller images for friends as an emergency gift idea.

Fans of Australia’s primitive, awe inspiring and desolate beauty will love Adam Monk’s photography. A landscape photographer with roughly 20 years behind the lens, Monk’s panoramic prints capture a sort of wild and untamed magic that our country’s natural beauty encapsulates. Whether it’s the ancient walls of a gorge in the Kimberleys, the Pacific Ocean’s sapphire hue stretching off into an endless kaleidescopic sunset, or a barren desert scape fit for existential meanderings, Monk’s images capture the sheer grandeur of the sunset country with an awe-inspiring silence. The colour in his images is utterly magnificent, and if they don’t spur your inner wanderlust for an outback adventure, then they will have you wanting to enjoy the beauty of Australia right in your very own home. Monk’s grand photographs don’t come at too steep a price either. A trip to his gallery in Fremantle will set you back as little as $ 600. My brother bought some place mats here for my parents and they’re kind of almost too nice to eat on. Adam also holds workshops and tours around the country to share his expertise. I certainly wouldn’t mind learning from the master!
