Yes, here is another shop to clutter up the homes of the trinket collectors amongst us. South of the border is one of Fremantle’s many stores that are perfect for gift-​giving. Herein you’ll find delightfully cute purses, hair accessories, scarves, notebooks, etcetera. I’m a fan because they stock Alice in Wonderland themed junk. It’s all wonderfully cute, and the prices are incredibly competitive compared to Fremantle’s other gift stores.

Decent gift shops are hard to come by. When I come across them, I tend to hoard them to myself as closely guarded secrets. But I’ll share this one with you. South Of The Border is a good place to stop by to pick up presents; especially for the slightly more «crafty» female-​types in your life. By «crafty» I mean that they like handicrafts. If you’ve established that the person you’re buying for fits that description, you’ll definitely find something in here as they carry a range of clothing, jewellery, accessories and handmade items. It’s the kind of shop where you can set yourself the challenge of sorting out someone’s gift in a ten minute stop and not find it too much of a brain-​destroying experience. I don’t want word getting out about it so that my gifts become less unique though, so if you check it out (and I suggest you do), keep it to yourself.
