I have been on a fruitless mission to buy a folding luggage trolley for a while now. The problem with having an occasional desire for folding luggage trolleys is that they’re the sort of thing you only remember you need, when you need them. So I was finally in a convenient location to buy one when I needed one– namely the salubrious surrounds of the Broadway Shopping Centre.
I went to K-​Mart and the Reject Shop, the staff at both of which looked at me as though I had a luggage trolley sprouting out of an ear when I asked if they stocked them. One further leg up on the travelator and there in front of my very eyes was salvation in the form of a luggage mecca. The lovely and helpful young man at the counter knew exactly what i meant and found it immediately, did not know the price but happily called someone for it, made sure that I had a handle on how it all worked before sending me packing (I’m SORRY– I can’t help myself!) and I trundled off wheeling my heavy bag behind me for a competive $ 30.
*while he was on the phone I eyed off the rest of the store and it has a great range of well-​priced baggage-​related items.
