Awesome, bar, friendly staff and great tunes. Free popcorn and tasty beverages. The beer list is great as well! Highly recommend and will come back time and time again.

Pretty cute spot. I like the staff and the drinks. It’s a reliable place that never goes astray following 2 for 1 Spanish tapas for instance. The only thing I don’t like is that out the back is a little grungy for my taste.

This is my favorite bar in Glebe if not the Inner West. I love their rotating cocktail menu which always has enough variety to keep me interested in the full list; seriously, many a night I’ve gone through every drink on the menu. Also, I can trust the bartenders to make up drinks for me based on taste preferences. Huge in my book. They serve a wide variety of beers and ciders too. The garam masala flavored popcorn is SO good and totally helps you stick around and drink more. Well played, barkeep.
They even do open mic night. My dream is for my husband to play there one night. Can’t think of anything else you could possibly want in a bar.

A place to be called home is not only a metaphor but actually is as well a place that looks like someones home.
First impressions ain’t much but then your greeted by super friendly staff and unlimited spiced popcorn, you can be a ease. First minutes here, I felt very welcomed and already chatting away. Told what this place has to offer all days of the weeks is a good mix of social events.
The bar wall is what caught my attention with some high class bottles and some haven’t seen. Trying first their cocktails to start with but felt «meh» so then was drawn to the single tasting liquors. It is really nice to see a bartender wanting to experiment and try new tastes onto their customers. But recommending with force particular alcohols is «I’ve got the one for you!» command is my time to shut up and listen.
Probably the best gin martini I’ve had ever. Slightly on the dirty side (as we all like it) was more about the particular gin itself. An instant favourite and and new one on the market. I’m ordering cases of this stuff now. The wines are quite impressive and good feel to the place. Journey over to the back where it was consumed along with a recommended cheese board… the biggest board I’ve seen. In bar made dips too. Yum! I’ve been own over. Add to the atmosphere, the staff come around to light all the candles to totally transform the bar itself. It certainly does look better like this. For a Monday night, the bar did fill up.
A very personal feel bar. Seat upstairs to the «in house lounge» or join randoms to a communal chalk drawing table or further back to the hanging pasta strainer lights for an outdoor under the stairs feel, a drinks, a feed, a all night conversation, this place has it.

I’m so glad I don’t live too close to the little guy. My healthy, non-​popcorn binging, and reeeeelatively sober life would be ruined.
I’m a big fan. The bar has a good layout, plenty of sitting or standing room, and killer tunes. They have an amazing selection of beers by the bottle or on tap. The vibe of the place is fantastic.
Get down there and check it out. You won’t regret it.

We tried this bar just after it opened, and came back a few months later because of the good experience. It is really quite good.
Highly recommend the popcorn, the wine selection and the friendly staff. They really are very professional and helpful, and it feels as if every one we have dealt with is the owner (who always tend to be the best staff in our experience).
It’s a little warren inside with a couple of separate rooms, the front bar, a giant blackboard table with chalk in the second after the toilets and then the back room with some seating and looking out over the back yard. Check it out if you are nearby, it’s an excellent relaxed vibe.

My friend rented out the two back rooms for a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend and the staff were so accommodating with her requests to put up decorations, store a cake in their fridge and they even created a special cocktail for the guest of honour and put it on the menu for the night — how cool is that?!
The popcorn is a winner and the cocktails delish.

A sultry Thursday night in this small bar meant retro tunes were played by the in-​house DJ while we drank craft beer and ate all the popcorn we could handle. Blissssss.
Super small and tucked away, The Little Guy ironically enough can’t be missed. I reckon it’s the best bar on Glebe Point, as there’s a really great ambiance in the walls which black and white pictures of some random person’s family hang. Sure, it’s trendy, but what isn’t these days? It’s welcoming and homely. And I’m not just saying that because there’s a watering pot hanging from the bar!
Either way, it’s absolutely ideal if you’re after a night of girl talk, as the comfy couches in the downstairs «lounge room,» or the grandfather chairs in the upstairs area will talk the pants right off you! Or was that the beer talking? They’re also tons of board games to play, making it a place you want to play, not just party. And regardless of how many people are inside, there’s a great energy, and the bar staff is charming and always keen to chat. Their specialty cocktails are divine, described in detail on the menu, and wont break the bank too bad.
And the popcorn; did I mention the popcorn? You can have the lot if you’d like!
Trendy but humble, little and lovely; The Little Guy makes Glebe Point pop! Literally.

This is a tiny little bar, full of hipster and inner city trendies (and that wasn’t a dig at the place, lol). They have a great cocktail list. I had the Elderberry something or other which I really liked, it was frothy and sweet with rosemary sprinkled on top. The bartender was cool too. I’d really like to come back and try some other cocktails on their menu for sure :)

Great bar in Glebe. One of the few places you can actually sit at the bar and chat to the bar tenders. Always a new beer on tap, and a funky cocktail list. FREE POPCORN.

Fun, cute small bar in Glebe. The cocktails were decent (not amazing) and the mulled wine was perfect on a wintery night. Lovely staff. Free (and addictive) Moroccan-​spiced popcorn is a cute touch!

This place is a little gem in Glebe!
The popcorn is delish– the staff are knowledgeable and they have a great variety of drinks to boot! The specialty cocktails change weekly and even though they don’t come with a description on the handwritten menus the friendly staff are always happy to explain.
The space is deceiving and actually a bit larger than it looks– cute little nooks but got to get in early to grab the stools by the window and engage in some people watching and a little sun!

I am SO ADDICTED to The Little Guy’s free popcorn that I am actually deliberately avoiding going back. Last time I went there I ate so much popcorn I pretty much turned into a kernel.
And here were my nice friends, chatting away and relaxing like normal people, and sitting opposite them was this salty exploded corn kernel, endlessly stuffing her face with more salty-​exploded corn kernel. Please, make it stop! Ah, beer. Ah … thaaaaaat’s better. Thank you.
PS: Oops, the review bit: Fabulous new small bar in the middle of Glebe, friendly atmosphere, a little too busy on weekends, somewhat pricey, exciting beers on tap.

This is a cozy little bar that is a welcome addition to Glebe Point Road. They stock a few beers and a cider on tap, but also have a great selection of bottled choices and cocktails. I haven’t tried their cocktails yet, but hopefully the decide to give Different Drummer a bit of health competition (and have a 2 for 1 happy hour???).
Not cheap, 9.50 — 10.50 a pint, but they sweeten the deal with free popcorn which is kind of cool.

FINALLY (yes, I am yelling at you, Glebe) another small cosy bar in Glebe that we can fall in love with. As you walk through the door it’s very relaxed, and the staff are super-​friendly. I wanted to be friends with them immediately, that kind of thing…
There’s a great range of beers, though at $ 9.50 a pint they ain’t cheap. Having said that, you do get free spicy popcorn which is AMAZING AND TOTALLY ADDICTIVE. Ah, popcorn, you smell so good.
That’s about it. Go there.

Stopped in for a few drinks with friends, and ordered a few entrees to share. They have spiced popcorn as a bar snack (which we took full advantage of). Thought the staff was very friendly here too.
I’d like to go back and try some of their other drinks. Apparently they have Old Mout Cider and an ever changing daily cocktail list. I’ll be back!
