Located in the Broadway Shoppjng center this is the only seated restaurant. They open around 12pm to the choo choo of the sushi train.(BTW — who decided that mustard and mayo is acceptable on raw fish?) I’ve stopped a couple other times and enjoyed the Udon and Bento Box(which is a very generous amount of food). I’ll recommend eating off the menu rather than the train, as there are much better options for sushi trains in the CBD. The staff is very friendly. The card limit is $ 20

Came here before going to tight ass Tuesday movies… for a place that looks pretty new/decent from the outside, I could see why it wasn’t as packed as it could be. The sushi train wasn’t packed, and there was plenty of seating away from the sushi train… yet service was pretty terrible. They had 3 people walking around on top of the people working the train, but for some reason they were always occupied with something else. It took about 10 minutes for us to flag someone down just to order… at least the food came out quickly. The food was pretty mediocre for premium prices, plus my sushi didn’t come with wasabi… what’s up with that? Anyway, if you’re coming to Broadway for tight ass Tuesday, skip this place… actually skip this place in general.

So this little big Japanese restaurant tucked away in Broadway shopping centre is definitely worth a visit. They have a sushi train on one side of the restaurant if you are feeling like that. And seating throughout if you are wanting something more. Bibimbab is what I went with, yes, I know, it’s not really Japanese — however it was delish, especially in the hot pot that came out still sizzling. I didn’t realise how big their entrée sizes were so had a bit of a food overload as I ordered the tempura vegies. Note to self. An entrée could be a meal in itself. Or share it. Lots of Japanese beers to choose from here as well. Overall staff were lovely and attentive, food was delicious and biiiiiiiiiiiiiig serves. Yum.

Visited this place recently on a Thursday night, I’ve been several times before and have found the food to be very tasty, if not a little bit on the pricier side of things. I added some pics of the dishes I recommend, sashimi salad and beef hot plate. The standout dish for me is definitely the chicken cabbage pancake which is something I tend to order every visit. They have a sushi train too, which I’ve yet to try. I found the service to be average.

This place is adjacent to the food court inside Broadway Shopping Center. The sashimi was fresh and delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. I got a plate of unagi which wasn’t great… not bad, but kind of dry and tasteless. $ 6.50 for the pleasure of dry, bland eel. Serves me right for grabbing something from the train, I think I’m going to boycott all sushi trains and just order from the menu or not at all.

This sushi train/restaurant lies within the Broadway Shopping centre food court. It often gets busy in here but you don’t usually have to wait too long to get a seat up at the train. A great variety of sushi that always looks fresh, along with a decent menu. It is a little expensive and they have recently started playing some really loud house music, which ruins the atmosphere a bit. A nice quick easy meal is to be had here after work or before you catch a movie.
