History

Established in 2010.

Professional qualification in dog obedience gained in 2010 through Alpha Canine Professional with advanced course completed in 2013. Bachelor of Behavioral Science gained in 1980 from LaTrobe University. Training has always been on a one-​to-​one basis, mainly in the owner’s home.

My name is Alessina. I am a professional dog trainer with human behavioural qualifications and many testimonials which speak of my successes with dogs.

I use my voice and body language to strongly communicate and reinforce obedience with dogs.

I will come to your home to help you understand what your dog needs from you. I know dogs… and I can show you how to let your dog know what you want from him or her. In turn, I can show you how to understand what your dog is telling you. I can teach you how your dog’s three primary sense organs: nose, eyes and ears influence its behaviour. I can also show you a few simple games to play with your dog. Play helps you to bond with your dog.

Obedient dogs give you and your family balance and happiness!

I approach training with an emphasis on companionship, not competitive obedience.
