My housemate swears by this Price Attack, and insists on making the special trip to buy whatever shampoo and conditioner pamper pack they recommend to help make her hair just that bit more beautiful. And certainly, those recommendations are excellent — the $ 40 she spends (apparently a fantastic bargain) has resulted in tresses I am quite envious of.
However my experience has not been so great. An avid DIY hair colourist, I went in looking for advice on the best way to bleach my hair to a bright blonde. I was informed that if I tried to do it myself then my hair would fall out and it would cost me hundreds of dollars to fix. Not that it was a risk (and yes, I knew there was a chance of that happening), but a certainty unless I spent $ 100 at their store letting them do it. No thanks.
Advice should be advice, not a blatant attempt at scaremongering.
