Nice menu. Friendly and efficient staff. Ordered a chicken satay starter and surprised at the size of the meal. Enjoyed eating here. Relaxed and food well prepared. Seemed popular with locals.

It was my first time here and was presently surprised! I hadn’t heard much about the wharf so didn’t really know what to expect. We had a scoopon which gave us a glass of wine or beer, entrée and main. We shared dips and olives for entrée and I had the pork belly as my main. We had a choice of four options for our main. I was torn and the wait staff were very helpful in getting me to make a decision. The pork belly was amazing!!! We were all very happy with our meals and the service was spot on!!!

Not bad restaurant on the Marina Pier at Glenelg. The ambience was nice and service was good also. I ordered the grilled chicken breast. It was hard to finish as was rather thick and felt a little tough also. The asparagus had a nice smoked flavor to them which I had not tasted before but enjoyed! The Wharf is a nice dining experience but I would not rush there to visit again.

Had a wonderful experience at The Wharf a month or so ago while I travelled to Adelaide to see the Soundwave Festival. We walked up and down looking at the various restaurants, and this one looked inviting. When we walked in we were greeted very warmly and seated promptly with menus. First we ordered the Tasting Plate(Pic Uploaded) which included: Arancini balls, chicken skewers, ½ shell scallops, Morton Bay bugs and a trio selection of dips with bread($ 39.90) It was all delicious — in particular the Arancini balls — wow… memorable!!! After that we were both rather satisfied enough not to order a main each. We asked if we could order the Braised Caramel Pork Belly(Served on a bed of spiced apples and honey orange gaze — $ 19). We asked for additional cutlery so we could share the plate however they actually split the belly into two and served us on two separate plates.(Pic Included). It was delicious… :) All in all a great meal was had at The Wharf in Glenelg.

This is a good place to come and lunch by the sea. This restaurant has tasty options to suit most dietary requirements. Vegetarian options are limited, although pescatarians are well catered for, as one might suspect in a seaside restaurant called The Wharf. And this is what the restaurant’s speciality is: Fresh catches of the sea. My bloke loves the scored salt and pepper squid, dusted with flour and served with crunchy chips and house made tartare sauce. It has a go at healthy options — although this doesn’t necessarily mean low-fat, as I note from the vegetarian tart with blue cheese. I’m quite partial to the entrée of five mushroom risotto balls, which come with a creamy yet refreshing dill aioli dip. The staff are nice but service can be variable.
