A favourite of mine. Great food, decent service and I couldn’t care less about the lack of authentic interior design. I loved Thailand when I went there, I really did but I also love eating in this clean, quiet restaurant. Two things Thailand is not. One thing that does take me back there is their Pad Thai. Tastes just like what was cooked on the streets of Phuket.

The place doesn’t look Thai. The food don’t taste and look Thai. They also charge one dollar for using a card no matter how much you spend. Very nice staff but they can’t compensate for poor quality food.

Thai Spice is your choice for Thai in Grange. The store itself is very open although the kitchen does look a little messy. The service is pleasant but nothing amazing and the food is genuine Thai cuisine. The dining room is very basic and is casual but offers excellent takeaway, which offers the majority of their busy. The business is family owned and run, there is often little children running around. I have heard of people travelling from the outer suburbs to get there, which says quite a bit for its reputation through word of mouth. The feature dishes would be the Taley Prawn and the Crispy Beef which is some of the best in Adelaide.

I second the crispy beef, it is really yummy, especially when ordered in conjunction with pad thai. The two go really well together(or so I think). The place is open, as Sarah said, so you can see the goings on in the kitchen, which can be good or bad. The service is great, I always find the staff are friendly(and not that fake friendlyness either), which is good.
