Looking for somewhere to have lunch with my parents can be a tricky task. We’re pretty simple when it comes to food, but every now and then you want a switch from the local RSL. Cruisers at Portside Wharf turned out to be a pretty good choice, luckily. It wasn’t too crowded and the staff are friendly. The menu is pretty varied and not too pricey. I had a haloumi burger with onion rings which was pretty awesome and others in my family had a chicken caesar salad, chicken and bacon roulade and a chicken and mushroom risotto. All really delicious and piping hot when served. Topped off by a stroll and a sticky beak at the big cruise ship it was a good Saturday. Definitely would go back for lunch another time.

Came here for cake and tea after the movie because Max Brenners line was way too long and I am really glad we did! The cake that we had was absolutely lovely and fresh and the tea was made to perfection. We also had a look at their breakfast menu just to see what they had on offer and it looks amazing so this is definitely one place that we want to try for a Saturday breakfast.

Hooray it has reopened! This place was reopened only a few days ago as it had some much needed renovations done. And my does it look pretty! It is located on the corner block the Portside Wharf complex and has a very welcoming vibe. The doors and windows are wide open providing its customers view of… err… the parking lot. But still, it contributes to its breezy and airy atmosphere. I have only come here for coffees and cake, but I’m told their mains are a treat too! The main meals they do is a combination of Mediterranean and European cuisine as well as Pub classics. From my experience their coffees are quite good but their cakes are just heaven. The customer service I’ve received at this gorgeous little café is wonderful. They are very attentive staff and also friendly. (note, this place was previously known as Mah-Jongg Bar Café)
