Balee Road Playground

I’d be pretty impressed if I had this playground near my home. There’s certainly a lot of different play equipment for children, including some of the old school ‘chain monkey bars’!
There’s not a lot of shade at all and it might be worth checking the temperature of the equipment before you let your child on. It’s all metal (painted metal, but it’s not a new playground and the paint isn’t as thick as it once was) and would pick up the heat quite well, I presume.
I almost feel like giving it an extra star just because it had a working drink fountain! :-) Hooray! But there’s no toilets :-(Boo! It’s all bark chip floor except for the swings and there’s some nice walking paths to the various streets and other areas.
With plenty of room to kick a ball this is playground definitely worthy of some children’s laughter, excitement and fun.
