Yet another outdoor and camping store on Glenferrie Road. There are so many along this strip that Mountain Designs never really stood out to me.
I’d just wander past and have a glance from outside. It wasn’t until I came here a couple of weeks ago with my mum when we were looking at snow shoes that I realized what a great store it is.
First of all there is a great range of clothing for men, women and kids. These are set out well in the store so you shouldn’t have a problem locating a particular section.
The range in each section is impressive too. I thought that a store like this would only cater to hiking and skiing needs, but I soon discovered that Mountain Designs offer a great range in active wear and some really lovely merino wear products.
The prices are fairly reasonable compared with competing brands and the service was personable and friendly. This is a great store for having a browse and exploring active wear –no matter the climate or location.
