Moving into an apartment just a hop, skip and jump from Sasa’s it was inevitable we would have to try out this café. After a busy morning getting in some exercise and stocking up at the Farmers market a treat meal was in order. The only condition was that we couldn’t order anything we could make at home as we could almost see our place! I opted for the Turkey club on Sourdough(minus the chips) and my partner the breakfast burrito with chorizo on what looked to be home made Roti. The menu had a slightly Indian twist to it and it’s here I slightly regret my choice. Whilst mine was tasty it lacked a little something and needed some Brie and a little more cranberry for my liking. The burrito however was delicious, the roti well made and the egg and chorizo with home made beans all full of flavour. We will be back for another round as the staff were lovely and the cakes and assorted treats in the cabinet were tempting and the coffee was good. I’ve given 3 stars this time as there was nothing actually wrong with the food, it was fresh and well made, but it didn’t knock my socks off.
