Never fails to live up to my expectations. Their #1 choice on the menu is a must try as it is just the perfect heartwarming dish that is very fulling.

This is a great little place that makes dishes from the Yunan province in the South West of China. The hot pots of spicy noodles and meat are very flavorsome and sure to leave you satisfied and craving for more. There is some Sichuan influence in the spicy dishes which you will appreciate if you like hot stuff(like in the deep fried chicken bites — spicy). I will be back to this very unique place. Try it even to surprise yourself or your friends. I am sure it will be good experience.

I have been here a few times and my observation of this place is there waiting staff is very incompetent. Slow and not attentive, they would wander around in the kitchen and chatting instead of serving or see what customers need. Today, the waitress even missed out my order. I came here on a one hour break from my class, I waited over 40 mins for my food and caused me couldn’t finish the food and had to leave for the class. Very disappointing at their service. About the food, small selections, average.

Two Sticks — aka Chopsticks? Don’t really see any resemblance to the food they serve but hey I’m addicted to this place. Pretty much went there twice in three days(yes I like it that much). Service not the best, had to ask the waitress more than three times to get water. They serve this awesome coconut juice that I’ve been trying ever so desperately to find, it’s in a green can. The noodles are served in pots and they come out with some raw meat and cook it(well they drop it into the pot) for you. Yes you can do it yourself but I guess that’s their gimmick to make the whole dining experience different. I tried the original Yunnan noodles and also this spicy beef one and they were both 8⁄10. Entrees we tried the pigs ears and chicken wings! The wings were blah… I did better at home without a deep fryer but the pigs ears were nice! They had this chilli oil which from memory they call it «numbing» sauce? Which is a direct translation from Chinese meaning numbness as it’s so chilli it’s meant to numb your little tasty buddies. Can’t wait for round 3!

Great place with tasty noodles in flavorful broth! Big fan of the small appetizers as well! I would suggest the Yunnan signature rice noodle soup and the two-flavor white cut chicken which is served with a mild chili sauce. If your looking to fill your belly in a short amount of time, check this place out – super speedy service.

Saw the place as it was being constructed while walking past it a few times, took a look at the menu and thought the place has an interesting special menu(Yunnan Noodles!!!). Now that the place has been open, decided to give it a try and was surprised that there was a queue with a 30 minute wait so thought that this place must definitely be decent(that and 99% of the clientele spoke mandarin chinese which is another good sign). The food came nicely presented in a clay pot(the yunnan noodle signature dish or crossing the bridge noodles), tasted good and was well priced. I know I’ll be back(assuming that I don’t mind the 30 min wait!). Only thing missing at the moment: Cash only.
