The Brickhouse Cafe

After visiting family in Ascot, we thought it would be a good opportunity to visit The Brickhouse Café in Hendra. Now this is no ordinary café, its a beautiful family owned brick house, which is also a café that is attached to their antique shop, selling various bric-​à-​brac vintage
collectables from everything you’re sitting on, to large garden sculptures & more. This gorgeous café only has a small selection of food, such as fresh toasties made on site daily except for their delicious cakes, & pastries which are sourced from a secret supplier. The atmosphere is super peaceful, located on a quiet street & is a perfect place for your next coffee catch up with friends. Speaking of coffee, these guys make a good cup. In the past they have used other brands but are currently using @bellissimoroast, from which they have created their very own blend that is smooth, dark, & not bitter. This went perfectly with our roast beef & cheese toastie & the amazing sticky date pudding which also had a hint of ginger. Yum! If you find yourself on this side of town, The Brickhouse Café is worth a stop.
