This is definitely the best way to get from Hobart Airport to the city if you’re on a budget and travelling solo or duo.
The airporter shuttle is operated by Tassie’s Redline buses, and departs outside the terminal after the arrival of every flight. That’s right, EVERY flight that lands at Hobart International! Not bad, guys. You can prebook your tickets on the website or by calling up, or you can just wing it.
Current adult ticket costs as at August 2014 are $ 17 one way or $ 30 return. Considering a one-​way cab fare will cost around $ 45, you’re cheering on the airporter shuttle. You do the maths. Cheering.
