Camera House

I went to camera house in Indooroopilly to purchase a DSLR camera and accessories and was told that I would receive a deal for the large purchase. I ended up spending over $ 1200 on a Canon EOS 100D twin lens kit, spare battery, 16gb high speed memory card, UV filter and an $ 80 lowepro apex bag and then when it came to offering a deal they quoted a price higher than what they actually advertised on their own webpage. When I pointed out that they were advertising the same camera for cheaper on their own website they said they would only give me the price advertised but no discount like they promised.
I have been a customer to camera house for years, but after this I won’t be returning. This store should honour their promises and by not doing so shows a lack of integrity and trust. I spent a lot of time researching which camera is right for me and thought I had built a good relationship with the staff at the store, however I recommend others to shop elsewhere and in the future I’ll be purchasing my cameras and lenses at either Ted’s, Harvey Norman or JB hifi.
