I’ve been here on numerous occasions and I’ve only had one coffee that was burnt. Every other time it has been a smooth and easy drinking coffee. The price is rather high, too high for coffee, even if it is good. And the wait for a coffee has at times been up to 20 minutes. This is fine if I’m sitting at a table killing time reading a book but it becomes problematic when ordering a take away after a trip to the grocery store.

Another review, another 15 minute wait for coffee. Quiet Sunday afternoon. The slowest baristas in Brisbane. Lift your game please.

Very unhelpful staff. Caramel milkshake was just milk and ice cream with a splash of syrup on the bottom of the plastic cup. The quiche was disgusting and clearly very old. Not going there again.

I love this coffee shop! The service is fast and friendly and the coffee blend is superb. Best coffee in Brisbane!

I’ve had 4 or 5 coffees here(to ensure I’m ‘right’ — I was concerned about the ‘chain’ appearance), but honestly one of the best and most reliable coffees in Brisbane. After today’s visit I’d rate their coffee above both other coffee places I’ve been recommended to. Lani, I’m so glad you went. Can’t wait to hear your second opinion. Barista’s who are coffee junkies(aka; cool, calm & clearly high on caffeine), are such a telltale sign! Mmmmmm. I don’t mind waiting for awesome-in-a-cup. :-)

I’ve been having pretty passionate conversations about coffee with one Brisbane Unilocaler we’ll call Fraser G. He’s told me a few times now that the coffee he rates most highly is that of CoffeeHIT in the new food area of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. So many stereotypes popped into my head and I’ll admit they meant I unfairly judged CoffeeHIT for a long time. It was a small chain coffee joint in a shopping centre. I wasn’t expecting someone to tout them as a top shelf brew. So, with time on my side while my other half sorted out some business in the centre, I ordered myself a latte from CoffeeHIT to see just what Fraser G was raving about. Surprisingly, compared to other coffees available in the same precinct this cup of joe bypasses them in terms of quality. As for consistency, well I’ll need to revisit to confirm how that stacks up. There was a little time to wait between ordering and my coffee. This gave me ample time to watch the two baristas on duty at work. Each coffee was from beans ground fresh and there wasn’t a whole lot of beans in the grinder. Often when ordering a white coffee, the coffee itself is lost in the milk, yet, these guys managed to pour one that was balanced with enough for the coffee to shine through. While I was only here for a take-away, there’s a range of cakes, sandwiches and a few specials to order for dine-in eating. Fraser G, you may just have a convert, yet.

So, round 2 at Coffee Hit indooroopilly. This time I thought I would check out the breakfast scene and all I can say is Amazing. Coffee was fantastic. No improvements required since my last visit. Shortly after, my breakfast arrived. Great improvement over the last visit when the open grill I ordered came ten minutes after my coffee. The food was fresh and well prepared. Nothing to complain about. Prices are relatively comparable to competition in the shopping centre(Coffee Club) however the quality of produce, staff and atmosphere are unbeatable. Upgrading my previous rating. If you’re in this neck of the woods stop in, sit down, unwind and get your coffee hit. The lower level renovations are nearly done and there is now entry to the lower level as well as nearby parking.
