Stop what you’re doing and come eat the pulled pork burger now! It’s sooo amazing, very saucy and messy to eat so don’t take ur first dates here, or do. But def worth the trouble! Ordered it with onions rings *super crunchy but lil oily* and sweet potato chips *would drive to indro just to eat this again* 09⁄10

Holy. Balls. So I’ve driven past here a few times and always thought«I must check that place out some time». So glad that I did. Took me ages to order because everything just looks amazing! From the outside it just looks like a quaint little corner café. Inside is a trip back to American style quinine from decades past. Everything is made on site and it reflects. The food is amazing and the atmosphere matches. Table dining outside and tables and booths inside. The only downside I can find is the volume of the music inside was too loud, I could barely hear myself talking to my partner while I was drooling over the menu choices. Definitely stop in here. Parking available in the complex. Well done guys. I will be back for breakfast next time!

4.5 /5 A very authentic experience! I recently moved from Indooroopilly but in the 6 months or so from the opening of NKB Express to when I moved, this was a regular choice for my friends and I. The interior is very authentic of the classic American diner from the counter, to the booth seating and the presentation of the meals. It is very accessible as it is just across the road from the Indooroopilly train station. Parking in the centre can be a bit of a challenge however. The meals are amazing! If you are in the mood for a serious burger, I highly recommend this place. They are filling and tasty. My favourite was the mushroom wagyu beef burger which as I recall was called the ‘Central Park’ or something similar. The chocolate shake was also a solid staple of mine. Prices are standard and they also do takeaway. It is definitely worth dining in for the full experience. It can get quite busy so avoid peak meal times or be prepared to wait for a table. If you are a fan of modern gourmet food and the inner-City lifestyle and you have not been to NKB Express, this should be your next stop! I’ll be back.

Service was good, the portions were big, the chicken burger was good. The wagyu beef though, not so good, texture wasn’t great and the taste was mostly due to the sauce and spices

Great atmosphere of a sparkling clean American diner with tunes to hum along to(the wait staff were singing & dancing!!). Happy place With reasonable prices. The best Swiss & mushroom burger I’ve had in a l-o-n-g time! Huge burger, big field mushroom, three slices of Swiss cheese and a big soft but tasty bun! And the sides: YUM! Delicious onions rings with super crispy batter. Sweet potato chips that were wedges that tasted of sweet potatoes. Too much food for dessert but I’ll be back SOON! Want to try their blueberry pie and coffee!

Shakes — Amazing, Fries — Amazing, Burgers — A big let down… The wagyu burger patties were chock full of rosemary and totally took away from the flavour of the meat itself. It was like eating a rosemary burger! Staff were awesome and we will be back to try the other items on the menu, I just wish there was a traditional american cheeseburger on the menu! Worth checking out the little sister of Nantucket at Indooroopilly.
